CORE TEAM

Role: To coordinate between the different teams, deciding the content for the website and formulating the plan of action for all occasions.
Syed Asad Haider Zaidi - Batch of 2000 (Coordinator-Core Team)
Duration of stay in school: Class 8 E to Class 12 C
House: Jayantia
School activities: Been a member of the school choir throughout his stay in Cambridge.
Role in Cambridge Alumni: A software engineer by profession, Asad has spearheaded the effort to provide a platform for the alumni. He has organized reunions for the batch of 2000 and has been running a successful online yahoo group for the same since the last few years.He has been instrumental in getting this website running – right from the idea itself, to locating alumni, collecting funds, troubleshooting, and getting this website made – he’s done it all.The one-man special squad… Bravo!! Also the owner of the www.cambridgealumni.com domain name and this website.
Shruthi Raman – Batch of 2000 (Legal Advisor and Content Writer)
Duration of stay: Class 3 to Class 12 B
House: Jayantia (House Captain: 1999-2000)
School activities: Primarily contributed in extra curricular activities - debates, orations, elocutions, few quizzes, some drama/theatre, active member of the School Choir, School Orchestra & the School Band (disbanded in 1993, restarted in 2001) , school Basketball team captain 2000 (member since 1994.)
Role in Cambridge Alumni: The idea of having an alumni association in the first place is to her credit. A criminal lawyer by profession, Shruthi has been a very visible part of the team from the beginning and responsible for effecting communication with the school authorities, ideas and pointers on the website, even troubleshooting at times and writing the content for the website.
Shamik Guha – Batch of 2000 (Coordinator-Media Team)
Duration of stay: Class Prep to Class 12 B
House: Nilgiri
School activities: Been a member of the school choir throughout and has been regular on the sports day races in school. He also represented our school on various occasions in quiz.
Role in Cambridge Alumni: Working in the media field, Shamik has been largely responsible for the creative planning. Kudos to him for his tireless R & D on advertising and publicity strategy, and for being a very prominent part of the planning right from day one.
Sakshee Dhawan - Batch of 2004 (Coordinator-Networking team)
Duration of stay: Class Prep to Class 12 D
House: Vindhya
School activities: A prominent face on the stage, Sakshee was also named the "Jagriti Independence Meritorious student" for the year 1999-2000.
Role in Cambridge Alumni: Joined the team a little late but has made a difference from the first day. Been largely responsible for messaging new members in the orkut school community and getting a colossal number of people to fill the form on the website. She has undoubtedly been the morale booster of the team. With her boundless energy and wit, she has been the epitome of determination and a source of inspiration for all of us. She has also been instrumental in collecting photographs and converting them into flash slideshows. She also designed the new logo and the website for hosting the promotional video till the site was launched formally. Currently a student of animation, her expertise in flash and photoshop came in handy for the website work.
Ruchi Thapar - Batch of 1998 (Troubleshooter)
Duration of stay: Class 3 to Class 9 F
House: Satpura
School activities: Was part of Sports Day celebrations in school.
Role in Cambridge Alumni: One of the latest members of the team, like Sakshee, she has made her presence felt from day one. Her guidance on every aspect of the site has been useful. She along with Sakshee, has helped the team going even when the going was tough. Specially helped in scanning the pictures; scanned in excess of 300 pictures in a record time! Currently she is working in a garment buying house as a merchandiser and she used her vast network of friends to help out with the trouble shooting on many occasions.

NETWORKING TEAM

Role: To act as a bridge between the Cambridge Alumni team and the school alumni. Responsible for spreading the word about the website and collecting pictures.


Bhumika Suri (2004)
– Been with the team for sometime. Has helped spread the word about the website.



Ayushee Datta (2004)
– Has given useful feedback on the structure of the website. Her wit and energy livens the atmosphere in the team.


Neha Goel (2004)
– Designed the stamp to be used on the photos on the camrbridge alumni website.


Harshita Jain (2007)
– Youngest member of the team, has been around for sometime. Been responsible for collecting pics.

MEDIA TEAM

Role: To formulate the media strategy for the launch of the website and future reunions.

Swarolipi Sengupta (2002)
– Has been a part of the effort since day one. She has constantly supported the concept of a website as a means to get the alumni association started in the first place.



Nalin Mathur (2001)
– He has been with the team throughout and his ideas on publicity have been very useful.


Mamta Gupta (1998) - Latest member of the Cambridge Alumni team.
